Diverse nature and culture sights

Taikayöntie offers excellent nostalgic and authentic culture sights. Magnificent historical wood and stone churches, the farmstead museums of the region and idyllic dance pavilions are examples of the diverse cultural offering of Taikayöntie region. Urjala charms with the legacy of renowned Finnish author Väinö Linna, beautiful manors and colourful flowers. Also Nuutajärvi, the oldest glass village in Finland, is located in Urjala. Funny and silly Ympyrähullut statues in Huittinen and the Mäenpää Labour Hall in Punkalaidun, which has been proposed for addition to the list of Unesco World Heritage sites, are all located along the Taikayöntie route.

The Taikayöntie region features diverse nature sights. Puurijärvi and Isosuo National Park, scenic points, diverse outdoor recreation areas, many horse stables and a wide selection of lean-tos and campfire sites invite you to enjoy and observe nature. You are also likely to spot a deer in Taikayöntie, because the region has the highest concentration of deer in all of Finland.

Taikayöntie offers especially enchanting natural phenomena. The fog lingering over the river and fields as well as the magnificent sunrises and sunsets will enchant you with their magical feeling. Taikayöntie is filled with magic!
