Karhiniemi beach is a beach on the banks of the Kokemäenjoki River in the village of Karhiniemi, considered to be the oldest in Huittinen. The beach is ideal for swimming and there is also a boat launching area. There are also stunning river views, and while swimming you can admire the traditional landscape of Satakunta and the handsome bridge near the shore.

The beach is open to swimmers from June to August . The changing rooms and toilets are open daily from 6:00 to 21:00. Swimming is accessible from the beach and the jetty, and a safe swimming area for younger swimmers is clearly marked. Karhiniemi beach is a great place to admire the meadowy river landscape and enjoy a sunny summer’s day.
